Elwood is complaining about stupid lawsuits and while I totally agree, I do have to say that they do help pay our mortgage because they're what keeps the business I work for in business.
I have to say that I am tired of Starbucks cautioning me that the drink I'm about to enjoy (maybe) is very hot. I'm tired of the plastic bag people telling me not to put the plastic bag over my head. What happened to good old fashioned common sense?? If you're too stupid to realize you shouldn't put a bag over your head or you allow your child to eat one..... you shouldn't be in the gene pool. My thoughts on metal and wood playgrounds with real gravel for ground cover is that if you survived playing out there and you survived all the other "horrors" we children of the 70s, early 80s and before had to survive then you were okay to be in the gene pool. Our mommy society (and big brother, but that's for another day) and all these frivolous, insanely stupid lawsuits are only making lawyers richer. And on thinking about it more, maybe those people who are suing and not taking responsibility for their own life and their own stupidity really aren't that stupid after all. They are millions of dollars richer now.

True, but that wasn't the equipment itself that hurt me. It was human error (mine) that did me in
