And another one bites the dust

Zach gave his notice today. So now it's down to three of us in the Bellevue office who have been around forever, are cynical, mean and jaded and don't believe much of what management says when they say changes are a-foot. Add in our new-ish director and our brand new SE. He's been with the company for awhile, but with our group for only about three weeks. Fortunately he's very bright and works hard.
In Philly we've only got to three as well, two of which work nights. Add in the three hour time difference and working on projects together can get difficult.
In the "we aren't sure what to think" news category: our Project Manager, who few of us were fond of, is moving to another group. Effective now. So this week we've got a major release to Staging AND Production and a brand new Project Manager. Fabulous.

Watching "The Devil Wears Prada" briefly last night we got as far as the montage of Meryl Streep's character coming in each morning and throwing her bag and coat on Anne Hathaway's character's desk. Elwood, trying to be helpful, said work could be worse. I actually thought it was a pretty apt depiction of how work is... Product Managment and Development come along, throw shit on our desks with random comments, walk away and expect us to clean it up.
